Dover hosts workshop on budget process
Taxpayers in Dover can learn about how the city budget is created, funded and managed during an upcoming presentation. The “Budget Revealed” event takes place on Thursday, March 31, at the McConnell Center.
City manager Michael Joyal will lead the presentation, providing guests with a deeper understanding of the budget process. He will discuss how city services are funded, including general government, public safety, culture and recreation, human services, public works, and education. City department heads will be on hand, and the presentation will conclude with a Q&A session.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on March 31 at the Media Access Center in Room 306 of the McConnell Center at 61 Locust St. in Dover.
