New event center to open in Dover

Rivermill at Dover Landing is scheduled to open in February, offering a new space for weddings, concerts, meetings and other events in downtown Dover.

The facility is located at 2 Washington St. in a refurbished mill building on the banks of the Cochecho River. With seating capacity for up to 350 guests, it will cater to wedding planners, nonprofit organizations, business professionals, bands and comedians, according to founding partner Britt Schuman.

Rivermill will host an open house on Saturday, Feb. 5, and a Valentine’s Dance featuring local band The Spectras on Saturday, Feb. 12.  For more information, visit www.rivermillnh.com or call 603-969-9293.
