No Labels meet-up in Dover

The New Hampshire branch of No Labels, a national organization aimed at promoting democracy without partisan bickering, will hold a meeting at Dover Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 15.

No Labels consists of people of varying political backgrounds who believe the “hyper-partisanship” of today’s political culture is inhibiting progress and eroding the nation. The group aims to restore the country’s basic values and principles through citizen involvement in governmental affairs and discussion that is not driven by party agendas.

The meeting in Dover will include an overview of the national organization, a discussion of activities No Labels should focus on in New Hampshire, and organizational actions that can be taken by proactive participants.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on Jan. 15 at Dover Public Library, 73 Locust St., Dover. For more information, visit www.nolabels.org. —MK
