UNH law school is now in session

The former Franklin Pierce Law Center has officially been renamed as the University of New Hampshire School of Law, finalizing a merger between the main UNH campus in Durham and the previously independent law school in Concord.
After a lengthy period of planning, the two schools agreed to a merger in March but then had to wait for approval from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the American Bar Association. The affiliation went into effect on Aug. 30 and is expected to expand educational opportunities for both schools.
