A-Helix series ends on high note

For the last six months, The Stone Church in Newmarket has been hosting high-energy electronica acts every Thursday night in its A-Helix series. The event comes to a close in early February with one last memorable live experience.

The show on Feb. 2 will serve as a stop in the Brothership Connection Tour, featuring performances by Lespecial and Space Jesus. The short, seven-date tour of the Northeast also includes live dancers and visual effects from VJ Adrenochrome. Blue Boy Productions will join the tour for two dates, including in Newmarket.

Blue Boy Productions is a duo based in the Boston area that blends live instruments with samples and original productions to create bass-heavy dance music. The group previously made a splash at The Stone Church during the OysterFest after-party in August. They’re in the midst of a 12-date tour, which will also bring them to the Dover Brick House for a show with Outlet and The Cyborg Trio on Friday, Feb. 10.

The final A-Helix show begins at 9 p.m. at The Stone Church, 5 Granite St., Newmarket, 603-659-7700. The door charge is $5
