Blues Festival at Blue Ocean

The third annual New England Winter Blues Festival will bring a warm batch of classic funk, roots and blues music to Salisbury Beach. The event features four bands on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Blue Ocean Music Hall.

The lineup this year includes R&B super-group The Get Backs, old-school blues band Mr. Nick & the Dirty Tricks, and Mississippi-style roots group Ten Foot Polecats, along with a fourth act that has not yet been announced. This year, per request, the venue will open up more space for dancing.

The show begins at 8 p.m. at Blue Ocean Music Hall, 4 Oceanfront North, Salisbury, Mass., 978-462-5888. Tickets are $22.50
