Auditions coming up for men's chorus
The New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus is holding audition for its spring concerts on three consecutive Tuesdays in January. The auditions take place on Jan. 10, 17 and 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester.
Established in 1998, the New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus seeks to provide quality entertainment while presenting a positive image for the state’s gay community. The chorus holds concert series in the spring and winter every year.
This year’s spring concerts take place on Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Nashua; Sunday, May 6 at 4 p.m., at South Congregational Church in Concord; Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m., at Christ Episcopal Church in Portsmouth; and Sunday, May 20 at 4 p.m., at the Derryfield School in Manchester.
Brookside Congregational Church is in the Manning House at 2013 Elm St. in Manchester. The auditions are open to any gay or gay-friendly men ages 18 or older. For more information about the chorus, visit www.nhgmc.com.
