Baldwin at Buoy
It’s been a while since upright bassist and singer Nat Baldwin played a show on his home turf. Baldwin moved back to the Seacoast some months ago, and he’ll perform alongside Sam Buck Rosen at Buoy in Kittery on Sunday, Dec. 11.
Baldwin’s career has followed several paths in recent years, working with bands like Dirty Projectors, Vampire Weekend and Department of Eagles. His latest solo album, “People Changes,” came out last spring, following his 2008 CD “Most Valuable Player.” The new disc also features Buoy partners Brett Deschenes, Al Mead and Jeremy Leclair, among others.
Rosen is an Amesbury native who has released four albums since 2006. The night before their Kittery gig, Rosen and Baldwin will share the stage at The Spotty Dog in Hudson, N.Y.
The local show begins at 9 p.m. at Buoy, 2 Government St., Kittery, Maine, 207-450-2402. Donations are requested.
