Armstrong and Aichele offer 'World Tales'
A unique evening of music and storytelling will come to Portsmouth on Sunday, Oct. 9, when “World Tales” hits the West End Studio Theatre. The event is a collaboration between longtime friends and collaborators, musician Randy Armstrong and storyteller Genevieve Aichele.
Armstrong is a world fusion artist who has mastered an array of stringed instruments from around the globe. He’s appeared on more than 30 albums and film scores and co-founded the Do’a World Music Ensemble and other groups.
Aichele is a performer, director and playwright who co-founded and serves as artistic director of the New Hampshire Theatre Project. She said the upcoming performance is suitable for all ages but is geared toward an adult audience.
The final event of Act One’s fifth annual Festival of Fun, the performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at 959 Islington St. in Portsmouth. Tickets are $16 to $18, available by calling 603-300-2986 or visiting www.actonenh.org.
