Sevendust heads to Hampton

The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom will reap a fall harvest of raw metal on Saturday, Oct. 9, when Sevendust headlines a four-act concert also featuring 10 Years, Since October and Anew Revolution.

All four bands have released new CDs in recent months. Sevendust, a veteran band from Atlanta, is still touring in support of its spring release “Cold Day Memory.” Formed in the mid 1990s, the quintet has now released eight albums, including three gold records.

Austin-based hard rock outfit Anew Revolution released its third album, “iMerica,” in May. Alternative metal band 10 Years, a long-time group out of Tennessee, released its fifth album, “Feeding the Wolves,” in June. “Life, Scars, Apologies,” the latest from Florida-based Christian metal band Since October, also came out in June.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, 169 Ocean Blvd., Hampton, 603-929-4100, www.casinoballroom.com. Tickets are $24 in advance or $27 day of show.
