Todo Bien releases debut disc

Hampton-based band Todo Bien has made their presence known around the Seacoast over the past few years, and they’ll release their self-titled debut album at The Stone Church on Saturday, July 24.

The band started out as a trio that participated in The Wire’s 2007 RPM Challenge. They’ve since added more members and now perform regularly around the Seacoast. Consisting of Skip Brunette on lead vocals, guitar, ukulele and harp; John Coretto on upright bass; Chris Asbell on guitar and vocals; Melissa Patnaude on vocals; John Reynolds on percussion; and Peter “Salt” Irelan on drums, the band’s acoustic style blends roots, rock and reggae.

The release show will feature an opening set from local artist Qwill, who produced the new CD, and several guest musicians will sit in with the band. Guests will receive a free copy of “Todo Bien.”

The show begins at 9 p.m. on July 24 at The Stone Church, 5 Granite St., Newmarket, 603-292-3546. Tickets are $10. For more information on Todo Bien, visit www.todobienmusic.com. —MK
