Seacoast Repertory Theatre is adding two new classes to its winter-spring offerings.

The adult acting class takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m., either Jan. 3 through March 7 or March 21 through May 23. Beginning with acting fundamentals, the class will provide opportunities for both working and non-working actors to hone character development, text exploration, and voice and movement skills through improvisation, sense memory, active listening and more.

Musical theatre hopefuls and veterans ages 16-20 will study and hone vocal technique, movement, basic musicianship and more in the musical theater performance workshop. The class takes place Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m., between Jan. 7 and March 11 or between March 25 and May 27.
The workshops will be taught by Alexandra Borrie, who has taught acting for almost 20 years and has performed on Broadway, in regionaltheaters across the country and in television in Los Angeles.Seacoast Repertory Theatre is at 125 Bow St., Portsmouth.
