Police are investigating a weekend vandalism and robbery spree at C&J Trailways bus station in Portsmouth, in which windows of at least 22 vehicles were smashed and various items stolen Nov. 4-5, the Associated Press is reporting. A car reported stolen from the bus station was found in a pond in Berwick, Maine.

“The car had just been reported stolen by the owner when we got the call from Berwick, at about 12:05 p.m. Someone had dumped it in a pond,” Lt. Rodney McQuate told the AP.

Police are looking for any information that may help in the investigation and ask that the public call CrimeStoppers at 603-431-1199.
