Thursday, June 15, is the last day to register for the Somersworth Family Fishing Derby to be held at Willand Pond on June 24. The event is for children and adults, although only children will be eligible to win the derby. Fish will be judged based on length. Competitive fishing runs from 7 to 9 a.m. The award ceremony will take place at 10 a.m., and the event will be held rain or shine.
