The Great Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross is asking Seacoast residents to nominate those who have had a positive impact on their community for a hero award.

“In our eyes, a hero is not only one who has saved a life but a person who has made an impact from their life of service, or has done something extraordinary that should be recognized,” says executive director Sarah Cherne in a press release.

Nomination forms are available online at www.greatbayredcross.org or by calling 603-766-5440. The nominating deadline is Friday, Sept. 15.
