Beginning July 1, York Public Library is expanding their hours.

“Thanks to the recent passage of our budget, we are able to offer five more hours of library service to the community,” assistant director Sudie Blanchard said in a press release.

The library’s new hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  With the new hours, the library will be open an hour later on Tuesday and Wednesday and three hours later on Thursday.

“We hope this will be especially helpful for our students and working families,” Blanchard said.
