The Dover Public Library is accepting submissions for the fifth annual Dover Public Library Poetry contest for grades K-12. Prizes will be awarded in six different categories, determined by age group. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, April 17, and winners will be announced on May 11.

Students may pick up information about the contest at the Dover Public Library, any Dover school library, or at www.dover.lib.nh.us.

All participants are invited to attend readings an “Evening of Poetry” on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m., at which students will be invited to read their poetry if they wish. For more information, contact Denise LaFrance at 516-6082.
