Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey Milkshake | Print |  E-mail

My mother always said, “Beware of novelty beverages packaged in tiny bottles/cans. Just because they’re expensive doesn’t mean they’re not sickening.”

Although I’ve found this to be a great rule of thumb, thank heavens it doesn’t apply to Ben & Jerry’s Chunkey Monkey Milkshake, which is delicious and refreshing, even if there are only 8 tiny ounces of it!

It’s not a milkshake, either—no ice cream, no lumps, you’re not supposed to freeze it—but it’s made of real and delicious stuff like milk, water, sugar, cream and banana puree, with not a sticky spot of high fructose corn syrup anywhere to be seen. It’s a cool, creamy, yummy banana goop-drink, like Yoo-Hoo if it had been made by wholesome hippies instead of black magic.

Unfortunately, the Small Foods Index Magic 8 Ball predicts failure for this product, so order a case while you can.
