Chez Boucher is now accepting applications for the Culinary Arts Training Program that begins on Jan. 8. The school says that the six-month accelerated certificate program is designed for entry-level, cooking professionals and features four months of hands-on culinary arts at the Chez Boucher French Cooking School, located at the corner of Route 1 and Breakfast Hill Road in Greenland. It also includes two months of practical externship training at the Galley Hatch Restaurant, bakery and catering facilities in Hampton.
All classes and practical aspects of the program will be taught and monitored by American Culinary Federation certified chefs, including Ron Boucher and Stephen James, who is one of only 110 certified master bakers in the United States. In addition, students will attend an eight-hour, intensive sanitation seminar and receive a nationally-recognized certificate from the ServSafe Program, which is approved by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
The program runs four days per week for six hours each day. Maximum class size is 12 and tuition is $10,500. For more information, call 603-964-9909 or visit www.chezboucher.com.
