The N.H. Coalition for Sustaining Agriculture will present a four-part workshop series on agricultural commissions at the N.H. Farm & Forest Expo on Friday, Feb. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Manchester. Agricultural commissions are a new way for towns and cities to balance growth and maintain their rural character by becoming more farm friendly. Models have been pioneered by residents of Massachusetts, Washington and California.
The Farm & Forest Expo is held annually at the Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm St. in Manchester. For more information, visit www.nhfarmandforestexpo.org or call 603-271-3788. The expo is open Friday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
