Amid all of the activities of the Fall Festival in mid-October, hundreds of people tasted apple pies baked by local businesses and voted for their favorite. After all of the votes were tabulated, the People’s Choice award went to Phillip Exeter Academy Dining Services, followed by Sweet Dreams Bakery and Applecrest Farm Orchards. Earning honorable mention were Baker’s Peel, Culinary Arts at Seacoast School of Technology, Humble Pie and Rogan’s Bakery.
