Massimo Morgia of Anthony Alberto’s Restaurant in Portsmouth, recently became sole proprietor and changed the restaurant’s name to “Ristorante Massimo” in celebration of what he and his staff have accomplished over the years, according to a recent press release.

Since 1994, the restaurant has drawn accolades from all across New England, including Phantom Gourmet’s “Gourmet Greatness 2005” for most romantic restaurant, Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” and Yankee Travel Magazine “Editor’s Choice Award.
