In addition to its jewelry and pottery classes, Exeter Fine Crafts this winter will offer bookbinding workshops with Johanna Finnegan-Topitzer of Portsmouth and hand-building clay workshops with Rooted in Clay potters of Rindge.

Book binding workshops include “The Accordion Book” on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a teacher workshop on “Books for Young Writers” on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon; a “Celtic Cover to Cover Workshop” on Saturday, March 10, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a “Cross Structure Journal,” which uses paper strips laced through the spine and folded around the cover to create a decorative pattern, on Monday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m.; a “Coptic Photo Album” workshop on a technique developed in ancient Egypt on Mondays, Feb. 19 and 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.; and a “Longstitch Journal,” featuring exposed vertical stitches in a decorative pattern, Mondays, March 5 and 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  Prices, which include materials, range from $42 to $82.
