More than 50 artists, artisans and craftspeople at the renovated Mills at Salmon Falls in Rollinsford will open their studios to the public on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 18 and 19,  from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Once a woolens factory, the mills now house the studios of painters, sculptors, fiber artists, printmakers, master furniture designers, woodworkers, framers, gilders, jewelry makers, photographers, children’s book illustrators and collage and installation artists, not to mention writers, performers and dance and yoga instructors.

The open studio days will showcase artists from the greater Seacoast area and allow visitors to the mills an opportunity to see artists’ work spaces, watch demonstrations, learn about how artists work and purchase art directly from the artists.

The Mills are located at 1 Front St. in Rollinsford. For more information, directions and a directory of artists, visit www.millartists.com.
